"It's the little things make a difference..."

Welcome to Ferryside

Sleep@ Calon y Fferi is the perfect choice for visitors who are searching for adventure. Whether on the doorstep or further afield, Sleep@ is perfectly located.

For guests happy to bring their own equipment, Sleep@ has a beach just a 5-minute walk away. Quiet and unspoilt, the beach is perfect for walking, swimming, fishing and kayaking, tides and weather permitting. There is a St John’s lifeboat based in Ferryside, run entirely by volunteers.

There is also an 8-mile walk around Ferryside, taking in views across the Towy estuary, Llansteffan Castle, the beach and bluebell woods and terminating at the Ferry Cabin, the café and fish-and-chip shop in the centre of Ferryside.

walking

open swimming

Sleep@ Calon y Fferi is literally a stone’s throw from a quiet beach set on the Towy estuary, perfect for swimming and paddling. For the brave among us who enjoy open-water swimming, Ferryside is ideal. The estuary is approximately a kilometre across to the village of Llansteffan, and the Welsh Open Water Estuary Swim (WOWES) has previously been held here.

Swimmers should be aware of tide times before swimming.
