Sleep@ Calon y Fferi is the right choice for visitors who are searching for an adventure
Sleep@ Calon y Fferi is the perfect choice for visitors who are searching for adventure. Whether on the doorstep or further afield, Sleep@ is perfectly located.
For guests happy to bring their own equipment, Sleep@ has a beach just a 5-minute walk away. Quiet and unspoilt, the beach is perfect for walking, swimming, fishing and kayaking, tides and weather permitting. There is a St John’s lifeboat based in Ferryside, run entirely by volunteers.
There is also an 8-mile walk around Ferryside, taking in views across the Towy estuary, Llansteffan Castle, the beach and bluebell woods and terminating at the Ferry Cabin, the café and fish-and-chip shop in the centre of Ferryside.
Whether for walks locally or further afield, Sleep@ is ideally located for walkers and ramblers. The area boasts charming views across the Towy estuary and the coast of south west Wales.
West Wales is full of inspiring natural variety, with stunning views of land, sea and sky. Just pedal away! Several parts of the Wales Coast Path, which covers the whole of Wales, are also sections of the National Cycle Network. Visit the network’s website to find out more.
Sleep@ Calon y Fferi is literally a stone’s throw from a quiet beach set on the Towy estuary, perfect for swimming and paddling. For the brave among us who enjoy open-water swimming, Ferryside is ideal. The estuary is approximately a kilometre across to the village of Llansteffan, and the Welsh Open Water Estuary Swim (WOWES) has previously been held here.
Swimmers should be aware of tide times before swimming.
