I recently stayed at Calon y Fferi in one of the delightful new rooms overlooking the playing field. Very comfortable bed, excellent shower and tea and coffee making facilities to hand. Even a patio area to sit out and relax in. The staff were extremely helpful throughout the booking process, with a lovely welcome from Ashley to ensure I had everything I needed.
Both the cooked and the continental breakfasts were excellent, served with indomitable good humour by Daniel. Nothing was too much trouble.
This place is a gem and the added bonus is that the restaurant alongside ‘Pryd’ serves delicious evening meals.
For a seaside short break Calon y Fferi has a lot to offer, including beautiful art work on display, a seating area to catch up with friends over a coffee, a Post Office and delightful staff to assist you. This is my ‘go to’ venue in Carmarthen Bay from now on.
